1st gear

Right this is hard to explain but i will do my best.

BAsically got my car back on the road now, hasnt been used a whole lot for 11 months, when i drove it up and down my grandparents road toget it warmed up. been for MOT passed etc, but when i took it for a drive on saturday afternoon after being at work, I selcted 1st Gear, and it dint do anything.
Is this the linkage or what?

It works most the time, jus sumtimes selecting 1st doesnt do anything.

Also happened when i was in traffic, went from 2nd -1st gear, pulled off and it jus revved up.

Any help? or further questions ?

Its only done it a couple of times, not enough to be Fukd tho i dont think! My work seems to think it will be ok, but any more problems ill take in to my work this comin week and get them to sort it all out!

Tis good to be on the road tho after 8 months since passing my test in april lol.
