does any one have pics of no roof liner with sunroof

the rear part of my roof lining is torn above the window due to the cage pushing it up
i am not sure if i should remove it or not
does anyone have pics of novas with sunroofs an no roof lining
looked in features for a while but couldnt find any

You're in luck mate - I've just ripped the headlining from my SR, will get you some pics when it's light

IMO it looks ****e! I was well gutted when I seen the size of the mech for the sunroof lol

What type of sunroof is it, tilt or tilt and slide ? The tilt & slide ones are huge, take up pretty much the hole roof space !! it'd look balls (imo) without roof lining and a T & S sunroof.

MAY look better when I clean off all the foam $hite thats bonded to it, prolly gona end up welding a plate in the roof skin :D

Aye get it pulled out, they weigh an absolute ton as well, last place you want loads of unnecicery (sp) weight is above your head.
Stick a bit of Perspex in there or maybe fit a tilt only sunroof (if it'd fit ?).
I removed all the headling from mine, ended up sticking some accoustic carpet on tho ... stopped it rattling as much when it rained !!

Yeah, they were only fitted on base models, merits ect ... should be able to fit one, cant see the shells (roof) being different to suit diferent sunroofs.

When I used to build Nissans at the Sunderland factory, I did primera estate roofs and the differences in the magazine etc and the entire inner roof skin were huge, however this doesn't mean the Novas are and as you say the hole is probably the same size, same outer roof skin and all that...

Anyway i've just watched the Mags get beaten on MOTD lol So I'll go see if i can get a decent pic...

There's a few crap pics mate - as you can see though it looks $hit!

I was planning on cleaning all the foam off it etc, but now i'm really fancying a tilt sunroof or as I was talking about with my dad today, weld a sheet in there instead!
