No heat from blower

I have a bog standard 1.2 mk1 Nova. (for now ;) )

I have no heat at all from the heater, just cold air. I have checked both pipes in the engine bay & they are hot.

No air blocks in the water from what I can tell, no water loss etc.... what else should I be checking ??

any common things to check ?

Is there any heat blowing from the back of the dash up the windscreen? A mate pointed out how rubbish the heaters were on my poverty spec mk1 nova last night, they blow warm air but its just really lackluste!! I dont think my forward mounted vents have ever blown warm air at all though, not in the 3 winters I've had it.

Bear in mind the vents in the centre of the dash don't blow hot air, only cold.

I`ll check for heat again, This is my first nova & I have only driven it a couple of times.

lol, yep, RJ's right, the middle blowers are worse than useless. They blow cold air in the winter and luke warm air in the summer!

If your not getting hot air from the side vents, and your sure you have no airlock, my guess would be that the heat slider has become disconnected from the matrix and its stuck on cold.
