Easiest way to change gearbox on nova?

Hiya, ive got to change the gearbox on my nova, and was wondering what you guys thought is the easiest way to do it? from the top, or from the bottom?

From the bottom without a doubt!! you wont get it out from the top anyway!

erm get a haynes manual!

but basically,
get the drive shafts out of the box, drain oil out of box, support engine, undo gearbox mounts, undo gearbox, take off the linkage and clutch cable, unbolt the gearbox from the engine and drop the hoe out.
