all my cars body work is done now, its not for showing realy, its my road rally car.
i want to do the respray myself. can anyone give me some info on how to do a respray please.
would it be easyer to do it pannell by panell or all at once.
i'll be getting a compressor and gun so dont worrie im not useing cans lol :thumb:

you can never have too much prep work i.e sanding, filling, masking and wiping down the panels etc. dont skimp on a cheap primer. i would sugest a solvent based paint for first time attempt and a 2k lacquer. tack between coats and use a polishing compound for the final finish but most of all dont rush things

yer im doing mine soon, just need a place to do it.
yer make sure you take your time sanding etc, its all in the preperation!

cool, i just want it to look presentable as i say its going to be for road rallying so it will only be out at night lol
i may do it pannel by pannel as i havnt got much room in my garage.
would you sugest putting up plastic sheets to keep the overspray down as in not gtting any on the rest of my garage?
