Right just been thinking whats the fastest 1.2 nova is on the 1/4, or 1.4spi, 1lt. Doesnt really matter they are all crap. I have a nitrous kit on my corsa that i probably wont be using until next year now anyway and wondered what the most nitorus oxide i cam ram through on before it spits its insides all over the shop. I reckon i could get 100-150bhp shot into it lol, other people disagree. Place your bets.

Also i cant see no reason why i cant get a 14 second pass on the 1/4 mile out of it easy. Oh and yes it will explode at some point but i want to know what people think i can get it too before it happens.

So next time we get a scrap one in we should give it go, let it go out in style. The winner can have the conrod it will throw out the front of the block.

seriously, thats good news. The jets go up to 200. Oh dear ive just realised that i actually could use two kits together, 4 solenoids, 2 bottles, 2 injectors. I could could actually put almost a 400bhp shot in, that might be messy.

I don't reckon redex will kill it - accidentally put an entire bottle in with ?5 of fuel (supposed to use 1/3 bottle with a full tank!) in Alex's Polo once and it didn't really do much lol

I'd say an easy 150. More than that on a 1.2i or 1.4i and I reckon the injection system would rapidly exit the engine bay via the bonnet lol

Redex is a well known protecter it will strenthen everthing in minutes so it will take a easy 400bhp!! It aint worth thinging about what would happen if you put a redline sticker in the back window iand a kenwood sunstrip on!!

Phill at my mates work we did a cavvy 1.8 spi with no jets just Nos into the air intake 1st and 2nd just spun up but it died on 2nd gear limter and set on fire


we duno how of a shot you get staight from the bottle...i thinkti was a 10lb bottle... was good fun..

my sri used to have 100 bhp jets on it and that was fine never missed a beat but regret the fact i sold the kit before i got to pod it

as far as the spi idea goes my first car was a 1200 spi and the bloody thing was indistructable when we came to scrap it it took a hand full of sand and half a tub of washing up liquid in the oil cap and half a bag of cement powder in the water bottle to finaly kill it and even then it was 15 minutes on the limiter untill it finaly went bang and locked up solid so i think you should easily push alot more than 150 through it

lol well i reckon we have a car which is a 1.2spi, its being built up into a 2lt anyway so when that comes to have its engine out we will have a play. Thing is a 150bhp shot and that will kill the clutch, gear box shafts, but i bet it doesnt touch the engine lol. Anyway i'll get it on camera so you can all have a chuckle at its expense.

Ive just taken it off the road, all its missing is an interior (no probs).

1.2 SPi Luxe +, K reg etc 109k slow as funk free if collected. Recent clutch & wheel bearings etc. Runs sweet, totally reliable in the year Ive had it.
