My GTE was measured, I got 7.5 seconds

K&N cone
Magnex Back Box
Bosch Super 4's + HT LEADs.
And the best bit, was the engine being tuned on a rolling road

and gte didn't have el or sunroof as standard and times are done with no options
so an sr with sunroof is slower than one without
p.s. tilt and slide sunroofs are fucking heavy

I thought that GTE was same as GSi if not a bit quicker because of the cat? I seemed to think that GTE was 0-60 in 9.1 as standard too. Doesnt the GSI have a better injection system but the cat counters it or something? :-/

You forgot about the fastest standard nova.
The Nova 1.3 Sport 0-60 8.4 secs and only group 3/4 insurance.

1.3sr has a shorter throw engine so they rev better
