ive been offered a swap for my nova. a mk2 1.2 spin. it has a broken front wiper and im my opinion bad arches, but the underbodys solid as a nut. its got alloys onit but they look ok an a tin can exhaust tip ( ?10 ones from halfords that screw on)
so should i swap or keep my nova
the nova ive been offered.. (if i swap it will be converted to a mk1 gte lookalike)..

so what do you think. should i swap or should i keep.
i know its my car and i can make my own descisions but i just cant make my mind up.

Which is a cleaner shell?
how much for the white one i need a few parts ?

white ones shell is solid underneath but the arches are rotten underneath. you coulkd put your finger through it if you pushed hard enough. the battery tray is rotten aswell its only just supporting the battery but its got a solid underside
my nova had mint rches, ok battery tray but its rotted to f*** underneat. the chassie legs are completly rotten.
If the battery tray is rotten i'd look in more detail at the chassis rails etc.
Its rare you see a nova with just one rotted panel.
Looks alrate tho, i'd swap, White mk2 Spin's RULE
just done a dvla check now it comes back as a 1.0l nova. so i rang him up to ask if it was a 1.2 or 1.0l. he said 1.0l but he said 1.2 to me the other day. it even looked like a 1.2
tbh i might buy it to strip, so if you need bits post ur requests up

Bonnet and bootlid i'd be interested in.
Perhaps its a 1L with a 1.2 engine fitted.
sorry mate, hes only offered it to me cos my dad knows him and hes looking for a blue nova, he said either i have it or hell scrap it. he just wants a quick sale mate. ill ask him tho
id swap - or sell the white 1 me cheap lol

If yours is rotten underneath then i'd swap, its better to have superficial rust than structural rust

I'd swap, arches are easier to repair then welding the whole of the chasis up. Take some bits off the blue one you mite want to keep such as the wiper to replace your broke one and your back box to get rid of the crap on the end of the white ones but other than that is it T&T and are you 100% sure the rust aint mega bad on the mk2?? but if it aint swap becuase i have seen your mk1 and the rust is pretty bad if not terminal and will require a **** load of welding to fix
iff you buy that just too break it you need your head testing, as said i'd rather have rotten arches than rotten chassis rails, just do the swap, the mk2 looks clean
