Ow mush bhp can i get me 1.4sr up 2>???

Hey up..i want to keep the 1.4sr engine. Ive got a full mangex system and a drilled airbox and standard wheels. Its done 110,000 miles and still goin strong ive done 120 in in and 0-60 in about 9.2 secs wiv 2 people in. I wanted to know what i can up grade on it to make it go faster and ow much will it cost???? What do u think is the maximum bph i can get it 2???? Cheers

You`ve barely scratched the surface of modifying. You can get much more power out of a 1.4 than most people think. It all depends how much money you have got!

Make sure you race people going down hill, strip your car out completly and then you will have an excellent fastcar!!!

Last time on the rollers I reached 130 give or take .2 of a bhp. I need to have another session on the rollers again soon though coz I think Its slowly going out of tune, and although I have the gear to keep it right, you can never get peak power without a rollin road.

the key to quicker acceleration is to have as little weight as possible. I read that the power to weight ratio is that if you up the weight by 1 unit then the power needs to be 4 times as much :O
that should make sense...
you could strip it out like everyone said but also put the original wheels on it for quicker acceleration as well :D

Spot on Andrew, I`ve also removed almost everything from the interior of my car. I aint even got a stereo! Dan, I`m always improving it, but the main power mods are on the feature page. I`ll get it updated soon.
