engine swap

I have a 1.2 nova just now but i want to convert it to a 1300 or 1400 sr engine. I want to do endurance rallying and also run it on the road. As it will be a 1300/1400 it wont be too expensive to insure. On the rules for enduro rallying it says this:The engine must in all respects conform to that originally fitted by the manufacturer for the model of car.

Does this mean i can convert it? If not what can i do to get round the problem? Thanks

id guess no, you'll need to buy a SR/SRi or luxe + but i wouldnt be sure thats just how i understood it

i think it means that all the mountings must be the same, but sure a 1.2 1.3 and 1.4 all look the same like
