alternator

looking to replace my alternator with something with a higher output. mines not all that and going to be runnnig driving lamps.

i've asked this before with minimal luck. anyone know what alternators will bolt straight onto a nova gte engine?

also, whats the best way to check the output of a alternator?

The output should be shown on a sticker etc on the alternator.
Have a look on mk3 astras etc for a higher amp one.

I just took mine to the local alt and starter re-conditioner and asked for a 70amp version from an astra, they switched the pulley over for me and it only cost ?35.
