Was at the exeter cruise last night, top night superb turnout including some novas. Got talking to this guy who had a Y reg nova. No idea you could get 'em that old thought A reg was the oldest and they aren common. Nyway it was spotless. It did had nova dose kit + smoothed boot but nothing OTT. Milage read 27,000 but that cant be right!!? Still a chuffing good find me thinks!

I nearly brought a brown Y reg Nova Hatch a few years ago to put my turbo engine in while i was rebuilding my Gsi. Engine blew on my Cavalier Turbo so had to spend the money putting that right and did'nt end up getting the nova.. Would of been a laugh!! Shell was mint on it!

I've seen a couple round here before. Both brown... must have been the colour of choice back in 1984!

Y platers & very early Novas were british built IIRC. hence the rear arches & door bottoms dont rust.

Fewe round here still, infact Ive just seen an immaculate beige A reg 3dr just a minute ago. Not a bit of rust on the paintwork.

Does anybody have an early 1982/3/4 Nova paint chit? Judging by recent posts, I'd imagine it'd be brown, beige, khaki green... lol

there is a red j reg corsa near me i always thought k was the earlyst for them too, and the plate is one local to my area so i doubt its private

I know there was China Blue, my B reg Nova was Leaf Green (ghastly) & anyone remember the orangey/ginger brown? Dash board & carpets to match!

I quite fancy a sleeper in the flat green colour.

That the same colour of Ste's old one?

Yeah I agree on the Corsa, always thought K was the A/B switch over year!

Plus I always thought the earliest year you could get a WRX was K but a mate of mine swears he's seen J's before....

meh lol
