Tyres

I am interested in doing track days. I av 14" rims the car is on uprated suspension. What tyres and size shoukd I go for?? I have been suggestes 185 60 14 yokos but some on else said 185 50 14 any ideas? I have also fot some calipers from a MK3 cavilier 256mm disc size will these fit my mk1 Nova with the 14's cheers.

get some semi slicks that are the minimum of 17% grooved, from (aghhhh i cant belive im saying this) Demon Tweeks. if the rims are the gsi 3 spokes then they wont fit.

The wheels are Astra gte will they fit under these??

256mm disks are off astra gte so will fit no probs
tyres = get some 5.5j 14" wheels with 185/60 14" semi slicks and use them for track use only
