I`m thinking of buying a GTE. Its completely standard. First thing will be to slam it. Can i lower it by 60mm if its running on standard alloys? if not how low can i go. plus if i lower it by 60mm now can i fit 15`z later on i fmy arches were rolled?

You can do what ever you want if you have the time. But you'll maybe need to do the arches the mk1 arches are smaller than the mk2. And if you lower it to much it'll handle like a roller skate, which is not good.:)

if ur keeping the standard wheels u should be able to go -100 at least with minor arch mods, although if ur gonna put 15s on it go for 6.5 wide, and 195 45s, and then get the lips rolled, dont grind em, thats a bodge. u should have no probs.
(except, -100 with 15s, try not to do a full lock to the right as the tyre rubs on the gear box)

oh yeh make sure u get shortened shox, they make the world of difference from 60 and below.

The lower you go the worse the ride comfort gets, it`s a fact of life. If you drop it 60 you`ll need uprated shox really and the ride with these on is interestin to say the least!

you can modd it so it deosn't catch on the 'box your local tracking place will be able to sort it for you
(wheels catching is an mot fail)
