Took my engine out to fit a 2.0 and found this on the front slam panel shall i weld it up or shall i get rid or break the car?

just cut it out buy a complete front panel weld it in correct and all will be good
what is the rest of the car like ?
if its good then fit a new pannel but if its not then look for a new shell
thats nothin compared to a few that i'v seen stick with it mate(if the rest of the cars fine)
i wouldnt let a lil hole/ bit of rust bother you mate

yer the rest of the car aint bad rear arches like most novas tho.so looks like il stick the 2.0 in there soon then.cheers :thumb:

yea mate.. nearly all been replaced now tho.. just need to get some capping bits...

That bit needs welding anyway if you were to fit a 2 lt. May as well fit another front panel as its not that easy to find a decent nova any more and getting quite a rarity.

any motorfactors should be able to sort you cheaper mate, or go genuine at your local dealer
