CIS now dont insure modified cars!

Can u believe it! they dont insure modified cars anymore!

Cant get a quote anywhere for my nova! :cry:

Have they directly refused to cover you? In writing? I'm sure a load of our members already have insurance with them, wonder how it'd affect them...

CIS will honour their exisiting policy with the holder without change to the conditions till the expiry date of said policy.

ill have to try elephant n admiral monday, also 1st quote have said it should be ok. but cant get modified quote till monday.

Since when did they stop insuring modified cars? I got a policy out in september and the first time i rang up they wouldnt cover me for mods (but they would for pizza/chinese delivery) but when I rang a mate who works for them (brokering i think) he got me a fully comp quote with ?0 excess, lowering and delivery cover for ?300.

Well if he wants to do the same for me, then hes more than welcome, and would be much appreciated, id give him extra cash if he could get me a deal!
