speedo clocks

how do u get the speedo clocks out inorder to fit white dials. i followed the instructions in the haynes manual and got them lose but couldn't pull them out. my car is a g-reg gte :-/

get a fork from ya kitchen and put the needle between the spokes and support it as you pull it off !!
