will a nova sport head with the twin 40's work on an E16SE block and will it give a power increase or would i be wasting my time. i might have the chance to get the head dirt cheap thats all

think youd be worse off to be honest as the 1.3 heads have square shaped ports and the later round/oval ports of the gsi/gte and sri are better

is the sri and gsi head the same?

A nova "sport" head is entirely std, same as 1.3L head.
It has cathedral ports.

You would loose power fitting that.

Keep the e16se head, best ports, and huge valves.

Lew-Sri and gte/gsi heads are the same, apart from slight changes for lower compression on gte/gsi engine, and some have EGR valve hole.

would fitting the 1.6 head to an sri see any gains, ? in any way?

No gains, you'd loose power as the 1600 head has lower compression.
SRi head is best of the bunch as std, as good as/better than a worked/ported etc 1300 head.
