as title, whats the best solution? re thread to another size? helicoil?
anyone else have any ideas as i dont really want to change the carrier
cheers
which threads are stripped?
if it is just the rocker cover ones, then clean the holes out really well, get some 'Chemical Metal' and fill them then drill & retap them.
Are all of them stripped or just one?
If just one i'd just sod it tbh, put some jointing compound on both sides of the rocker gasket, and it'll probably be fine without a bolt in it.

yeh sorry its the rocker cover bolts
its about 3 in a row so need it sorted asap
ill try and re tap it to a m7, if that doesnt work ill either stick a m6 stud in there with chemical metal or jsut fill it and re tap, only thing is i cant find my m6 tap lol
cheers
