Rover VVC

Me mate has just got him self a rover 200 VVC. Its a 1.8 and the 0-60 time is written as 7.1. I wanna know if there is any chance of gettin my 1.6 GTE to beat him of the mark up to about 60? Or am i just gonna have to live with him beatin my ?1500 Nova in his ?8000 rover?

dont ask. if you really have to try and prove that you can thrash the hell out of your car to beat him then do it.

Any thing can be done if you have the time and resources. My mates Dad used to be a hardcore petrol head many years ago, and is looking 4 a new project. He was going to put a cossie lump in a nova, but then found out a mate was selling a Rover v8. The scary thing is I think he's guna do it! The man has no boundaries!

They are actually booked at 7.5 secs, which is quite beatable with a well tuned Nova. You just gotta hope he dont start tuning his! lol :D
