should a fuel pump on a valver nova prime before you start to turn it over ?? cos mines become a BIATCH!!!!! to start ....
I dont think it does, not 100% sure tho.
It only primes when you turn the key to start it, not like on a std GSi / GTE that primes when the ign is on.

have you tried your fuel pump relay might not be kicking in
It wasn'y originally a 1.0 was it? if so make sure you have 12v to the coil,

This might help. Run a new Earth wire from the alternator body/adjuster arm to the -ve terminal on the battery.
Give the fuel pump relay a few hard taps with a screwdriver handle on its top too.

CTS. Blue sensor in the thermostat housing. About ?10 & will make it run much better (most likely).
it will be down to the live feed for your coil then ,
if your using the live the that was on the 1.0 it drops to under 12v when cranking it , and then when you let of the key it goes back up , and do you find it will start here sometimes
you need to run a new wire to your coil from a live that stays 12v while cranking :thumb:
