17s on corsa b

my mate has offered me a set of 17s for ?300 off his astra, just wondering if they should be ok on a corsa b, lowered 40mm, will i get any scrubbage or will i have to cut the arch?

no but my vauxhall 15s will rub if i lowered it some more and mine isnt even that low. Every corsa i have come across with 17s rubs on the back. Not seen any that dont yet.

strange, my vaux 15's look like it would be ok if it was lowered more, its only 30mm currently.
my mate put 18's on his and when he lowered it back down off the jack the wheels were wedged so that they wouldnt even turn. lmao lol

mine's lowered 80mm at the back on 15's and it dont catch on bit....

its currently on 15s with 40mm drop, and it doesnt look like id get much more under the rear arches, maybe i should stick with my plan and only go to 16s!

the tyres i was using were 195 55 15, nice big ballon ones lmao

my mate had a corsa sport that rubbed with 15s without being lowerd

Trim the rear arches and tidy them up. My Corsa ad 17 Dares on and never scrubbed a bit and she was low.
