help on exhuast 4 sr

hi people,
got a 1.4 sr and lookin 2 put a 4branch manifold on and a full system but im not a fan of very load cars, i want it 2 sound nice a suttle and have a nice prrr, any1 no of a manifold and system best 4 this, cheers

think all sr's tend to sound raspy i have an ashley sytem and manifold sounds goog but when at full throttle it is loud and when you let off it does pop and bang a bit but that coul be because it runs on carbs

iv'e got a lexmal 4-2-1 stainless manifold and a mongoose full system. with the std carb it's quite a nice throaty sound, but with webbers it's the tits.

Jetex used to make a pretty quiet exhaust system and they are well made but not seen em around for a while, I'm sure they are still going though.
My dad had one on his 1.6 mk3 Cav(About 12 years ago tho) and that had a nice exhaust note but wasn't too loud.
