Well, I am now minus four footwells after a little grinding.

Will get the replacement plate welded in tommorrow/Tues fingers crossed.

No turning back now lol

Am I doing it right? :confused::thumb:

All that black $hit is hammerite, incase the tin worm decides it wants in whilst there's naked metal lol

Got back to find my mates CRX broken into outside his house, this was around 3pm! ****ers!

Will get it all cut out nice and uniform etc and get the 'strengthening' beams wire brushed down and hammerited/sealed etc.

Hopefully this will turn out OK, as it's getting done body coloured anyway afterwards, and I have some 1mm ali chequer plate I intend to rivett to the drivers footwell, for grip.

Sat where the back seat goes and pushed it along using my feet too

:eek: omg it surely didnt need it all cutting out?? you do realise just welding flat sheet in is gonna be weaker than it was

lol only the rear drivers side footwell was OK mate, Yeah it all needed cutting out, Going to use 1.5mm gauge plate, the areas aren't massive tbh mate, been assured it should be fine, so says my dad and he's a fabricator, We'll see tommorrow eh :confused::)

Guess that's what I get for buying a SORN'd for 2 years ?120 SR then lol
