ive been offeres a set of 6-spoke calibra turbo wheels for ?30 or a set of vectra 5-spokes for the same price. but i dont know if theyll rub on my arches. ive tried them both on a scrapper when its up in the air and they rub

my nova is a mk1 hatckback and these are the wheels on it now

and these are the wheels like ive been offered. do you need spacers or anything or do they just go straight on?

calibra turbo wheels are 5 stud so are later vectra ones, the wheels on the white nova come from tigras and some vectra the wheels on the blue corsa are cavalier cesaro alloys, make sure theyre 4 stud and they will go on no problems

i doubt that rubbing will be an issue mate

if theyre early vauxhall wheels then the offset will be et 45 - 49 (it'll be stamped on the alloy on the inside or by the studs) - if it within that range you should have no problems.

15's dont usually rub - unless its lowered 60mm + and the offsets outside the above range.

You may need to roll the arches if it is though (rear ones mainly).

I like the standard 14" ones in the top pic. used to have a set and although I like my 15's I kind of miss them (still got them somewhere).

youll need to take the balloon tyres of if you put casearos on as i test fitted mine up the road, i returned to see 4 bent arch lips, although mines lowerd 60mm aswell

mines not lowered atall
so they should go on no probs then?
or will i have to roll the arches?

Still want to drop to minimum of 185/55's or 195/50's

I have the 2nd set on mine, and when mine was lowered 60mm they occasionally rubbed.
There ET49, 6J, and had 195/45 tyres fitted.

They may seem cheap at ?30, but four nova friendly tyres will cost at least ?120ish if not more.

With the standard cav tyres on, they will probably rub on the shock/strut assembly on the front, and probably on the rear too.
