Brakes Again

Are 256mm discs alot better than 235mm, The reason I ask is that I have 14" Astra GTE rims and I have baught some second hand calipers 235mm from 1,8 Astra and at the moment I have solid discs, really all I was after doing was to change to vented dics, then I found out that 256mm will fit as well.
Please help what should I do.

The brakes you have got are the same as the Nova GTE ones, the 256mm discs and matching calipers are off a Astra GTE 16v or Cavi GSi and loads better

Nah, he said he has solid discs, so they r the same as astar 1.6Sx, and worse than nova GTE! They r the worst that vuaxhall do. Get some nova236mm, or astra 256mm ATE units with 20mm/24mm wide vented discs.
