just wondering what bhp these modifications produce on my sri:

pipercross cone induction kit

gsi decatted pipe and cherry bomb backbox

performance ngk plugs and leads

performance fuel regulator

and what would a 4-1 or 4-2-1 manifold bhp increase?

kent cams

new head ( port polishd,skimmed,bigger valves )

remapped

cheers!:thumb:

pipercross cone induction kit-0

gsi decatted pipe and cherry bomb backbox-Decat possibly 4/5bhp

kent cams-5bhp maybe

new head ( port polishd, skimmed, bigger valves )-Depends what you have done, the std sri head is very good tho

remapped-It can't be remapped.

what about the chip then? and i thought the filter would increase some...as standard restricted airflow

not one of them ebay chips! or even a mccains chip!

tbh the difference you would get alone just from a cone is hardly worth a piddle. combined stuff makes a much better difference.

Cone filter would probably loose you power over std panel filter and box.

i have been looking into a filter been put off the cone filters because no one seem to do a decent kit with brackets etc. so is a panel filter better then i thought the cones would increase air flow hence better peformance?

cones are "ok" in a sealed box (ie sealed from the engine bay) because the bay traps hot air and that gets sucked in via a cone... a well ducted airbox and a pannel filter will give more robust gains.
