nothing certain yet - only 5 weeks in.
sis has polycystic ovarian syndrome ( spelling? whatever ) so more likely to miscarry, but was also never very likely (if at all) to conceive in the first place.
Happy for my sis more than anything, she always wanted kids, then found out about P.O.S and was really upset. Her best mate is pregnant, due in January (on the day i was due, incidentally!) which upset her a bit too, so yeah - hope everything goes ok.

I always wanted to produce the first batch of great grandchildren though lol
I was the first grandchild on my mums side (the only side that counts to me) so obviously i am the favorite of the bunch lol

its never simple though is it...
Mum is moving down south next month, supposed to be anyway... all according to plan. Then in about 6 months she is moving to live in spain.
Sis is scared to tell mum about all this because she doesnt want mum to feel like she has done it on purpose to stop her moving away etc etc.
Mum is emailing me now saying how she hopes my sis and her fella can find a suitable place to rent within the next couple of weeks so that she can move down south a.s.a.p.
I feel a problem brewing!
congrats for your sister buddy, hope everything goes to plan
as for the mum thing spains only an hour or 2 away - prob closer and easier to get to/from than some places off this stinking hell hole we call england lol

well yeah. we've discussed that bit between us already. Sis living in manchester area so only 30 mins max from airport. Mum will be living 30-60 minutes from airport at the other end. 2 hour flight in between.
It'll take more than that to drive back and forth from essex until she moves.
Only thing is, mum will be jetting off to a new life in spain right around the time her only daughter is giving birth to her first grandchild - what do you do?
Am tempted to drive up there tonight for moral support, but dont want to be in the way... and i've got college, though thats not top of my list right now lol

Make the drive.. you wont be in the way and they will both appreciate you being there.
Plus they may look to you as a mediator.... and voice of reason.

I'll see what the other half thinks when she finishes work... then ask sis if she wants us to be there.

she's not replied to my text yet so i dont know if she wants me to go over or not. tempted to go anyway, but dont wanna arrive in the aftermath with sister gone out and mum on her own in a mood.
Might be best to let things settle a bit before i wade in there anyway, i have some issues at the moment which i've kept to myself, but which will all come out if things kick off... cant be ****d to pussy-foot around anymore.
... cant be ****d to pussy-foot around anymore.
i never do anyway - just jump in all guns blazing lol might not be the best way to sort stuff but it sorts stuff so it'll do for me lol
Give her my best, and hope all goes well!!
