Spent about 3 hours changing my bumper over... still got the rear one to do but heres some pics so far...

Yeah it was well hard getting the white one off... Its good job I got little hands! I painted the white thingy black too so it doesnt show through the grill anymore.

looks good... i reckon you should get a standard grille tho it will look more in place with that bumper... kinda like this... but with clear or standard indicators!!

I'm going to be annoying and say I don't like that; but then I never was a fan of Mk2 bumpers on Mk1s, as the headlights don't ever look right. I'd have just painted the GTE one dark.

Does look alot better but get some trim detailer on that bumper and bring it back to life.

i have to be honest, i agree with jack. mk1 lights and grill just dont sit right on a mk2 bumper.

Changing bumpers takes about 10 mins i thought! Isnt it like 6 bolts/screws usually or is that just mine?!

Its probably easier to take the bumper off the mounts, not the mounts off the car with the bumper still on it, if thats how you did it anyway:thumb:

I put 2 wood screws threw the side of mine after i ripped it off outside Riggys house.

mine have always just been 4 bolts (2 in each wheel arch) and 4 small screws on each side screwed to the wing, then take the whole lot of in 1

lol...maybe! def want a mk2 bumper though aswell, i would lower it 60mm on black 16's, new exhaust, probly a cherrybomb or somthing, de badge the back, half show cage, new interior and take those silly side strips off! :D would a mk2 rear bumper fit a mk1?
