Is it worth 100quid for a brand new one of these the plastic surrounding in the middle has a sticky out bit that has snapped off is it worth a brand new one!!!!

is it just the black plastic bit that is broken? If so if i remember right they just pop off and hence you can get another for pennies at a scrap yard.

I thought thats what the problem would be.

The drive collar is removeable iirc.
Or just go a scrappy and find a dizzy the same as yours, make sure its off a carb engine tho.

Yeah but how do you removw that plastic collar theres a pin running through but i cant get it out. iam thinking about just paying 100 quid and not have to worry about it again. but iam going down the scrappy on wednesday so theres no excuse!!!!

The pin is removeable, think it just pushes out.

its a roll pin get a hammer and a punch the size of the pin
