alright peeps has any one got a wireing diagram for a gte or know where i can get one the prob what ive got is ive not got any power to the injectors when i had the car it had the 1.6 gte engine fitted was a 1.sxi ive got petrol there and it fires by pouring petrol down the pots please help:confused: oh ps sorry about the rant phil g and razor jack bad day bad day:cuckoo: :cry: :thumb:

Haynes manuals have a decent wiring diagram in the back pages for all models and years. Do you know what year the GTE engine is (as there may be slight changes in the wires and colours)?

coudnt tell ya but one side of the injector is green/yellow other black/purple

Have you got ur connections to the fuel rail the right way round?

Simps.

yer think so it was alreddy in the loom

check you've got the gearbox earth strap on and also there is an earth from the loom to the engine near the cam pulley

i beleave you will find he means the fuels pipes

yep there was enough pressure to blow the injectors out

yep there was enough pressure to blow the injectors outif they are bolted in properly they shouldnt be able to be blown out

no i forgot to bolt them in

well in that case then check all your earths as that is the most common problem
