I've thought of being a bin man before.... gets you fit, gets you up early, gets you home early ;) and the pay is pretty good.

Good call, one of my ex's dad's used to do that, apparently its a good job. Probably call them "environmental domestic waste technicians" these days though lol

Cabbie? You get to practise your racing lines all night, and you can clear 600 a week in this area doing nights or about 400 doing days.

yeah but if you become a cabbie you will need to learn to drive like a bellend and go straight on at roundabouts at 90mph+ regardless of what traffic might be in your way.

Nah, too many weirdos round here who'd either try to stab you in the back whilst driving, or stab you up the ar$e! And I'd get fat(ter) if I was sat on my **** all day driving about. Although being a trucker would be ok as they're meant to be fat, and lets face it I'd have a big-a$$ truck to drive round in :D

what about sitting on your **** and claiming benefits for something that is false, then you can join the majority of society.

Well I sit at work and do nothing, and get paid out of everyone's taxes so I'm not too far off being a bum lol

Tempted by uni, but don't fancy the time without money and having to learn lots of stuff - I'm more of a learn by doing person. Although most of the jobs I was looking at with decent wages want people to have either an appropriate degree or x years experience

Incidently I saw an sri corsa towing a mobile doggie hydrophonic booth (think thats bubble cleaning or something for stinky dogs)

see what night courses are on at your local college/uni etc - that way you can stay where you are for a while and when you do apply for these jobs that need qualifications you can tell them your studying off your own back - thats what im doing anyways

I would if I could count - hence why I work in IT now lol

I'm using my current job to get as much experience and training as possible, I've already got a Unix qualification and I want them to sponsor me for a night class in networking... as if I stay in IT I want to be up and doing things, not sat at a helpdesk on the phone or in front of a server doing boring stuff

Ill bear you in mind when i need to increase my engineer count mate. I like to train my engineers from scratch as trained ones usually have their own ideas about doing things, and im a finicky bastid!

Stu already wants a job with me, but hes in the wrong location lol

Not looking at the moment, work was non existent for the last few weeks, but hopefully we'll be expanding in the next 6 months.

But in answer to your question, trainees go on 800 a month until i feel theyre ready to bugger off and do it on their own, and then their on 1100 with a junior engineer. Bear in mind the last guy i let loose buggered up 2 jobs by baing lazy with no attention to detail which lost the contracts which were paying him so i made him redundant, so im back to the point i was at a year and a half ago with one senior and one junior!!

And no, i dont do relocations lol, im only a tiny ltd company!

Jack go for porn star plenty of exercise involved so you soon get in shape not much training required obvious benefits. Erm how you tell the Mrs though is your department.

Seriously though if you want to stick with IT join Wrexham councils cable monkeys. They get out and about pull through a few cables and bugger all apart from moan how we've put in trunking thats to small when its bigger than the stuff they asked for. and you don't need to know fook all! well there head of department doesn't!

Rant over
