So i thought id try my hand at machine polishing seen as how im a valeter and all that lol, not done it before and only been shown the basics so we had nothing to do so when everyone else went home early i stayed to play lol, its not the best in the world as i ran out of G3 but im impressed as it looked like this when i first bought it,

That's very nice, well done.
One of my previous Novas was red but had oxidised badly and was a nice shade of pink. Several T-cut's later and the pink had gone, so had the red! Was left looking at the primer underneath......DOH!!!!
Have vowed never to buy a red car again.
You've done a cracking job and the car looks mint.

Thankyou very much buddy, it was only my first go and you can see the machine lines in the direction ive polished it, mainly shows under street lights on a night but now its lowered and got some skirts too its looking a hell of a lot meaner than it was, and all from a salvage repairable bargain from simpsons-salvage lol!!!

Thankyou for all your quality comments peeps im getting quite a big head now lol, but to be fair i have impressed myself as my last nova started life standard and ended up looking pretty good if i have to say so myself hehe, but i only did about 60% of the work on it myself.
Fair enough ive not done an amazing amount on this one as yet, but ive done it all myself and had some impressive feedback from you all, so after my nice little speech, ill just say cheers to all lol, thankyou!!!

try doing small spots at once and slowly go over it you will get a better result, no swirls etc make sure you wax it otherwise it will just fade again! doh!

ive got some G3 and whenever I do it on red cars ive owned (nova and Corsa both flame red) Ive never managed to get good results. tbh they still look pink.
How the hell do you get it looking like that? Mines done by hand btw.
