lecky windows??

any1 know if astra lecky windows will fit in a nova?? if so is it the same as doing nova one's

I thought that once......Astra ones are quite easy to get hold of, but I never actually tried it.

They have a wire-driven mechanism (at least in the MKII 5-door model that I looked at), and the glass winds down at a different angle......moves forward as it goes down (like a good Girl!), whereas the Nova windows go straight down.
The mechanism is attached at the top of the door, and down on the flat part in the door bottom, so you'd have to modify the Nova door to fit it, and not sure about dimensions.....can it physically fit in?
I'm waffling aren't I lol

I know the 5-door and 4-door Novas also use a wire-driven mechanism, which may be the same on used in the Astra, but not sure?
Maybe the 3-door Astras use the same mechanism as the Nova?

Later Astras use a huge mechanism, with extra linkages....or am I thinking of the MKIII cav ones?
