I have recently fitted LSD to my gsi and as the gearbox and engine are out I wanted to get a new clutch kit but don?t really know what to go for or what?s best? I have been looking at the Helix ones which are Group N Clutch kits and have Organic or Cerametallic Clutch Plates.
Has anybody got these? Or recommend anything else?
std cover and an OMP 4 padle plate is a very good setup.

std clutch copes fine tbh Luke. OMP isnt that expensive tho. I see (forget now) an advertiser in TV this month have Valeo clutches for ?90ish.
My turbo was fine with a ?50 EBC clutch.

I thought I should change it as everything is out, my STD clutch was slipping and felt like it was on the way out!
But I don’t want to spend too much on it either!
Are the Valeo and EBC clutch whole kits or are they just for the plates?
what are you going to do with the car? ie track days, 1/4 miling, fast road etc...

EBC is deffo a full kit incl release bearing.
Valeo not sure, but I'd guess its a full kit.

I would like to do some track days and 1/4 mile runs but its not built to be a track car more like fast road set up.
