odd topic, but looking to get a pet rat again:D had a few, a few years ago, but looking to get one whilst at uni :roll:

anyone got one?

looking for a small cage as well.

my housemates are trying to overturn the idea though :(

Great pets, I used to have a rat. :) Definitely get another one if you have the time for it. :thumb: Be nice to the thing and get it a big cage though. :p

i've been offered a big cage. my mate at uni used to have rats but they died a couple of weeks ago. it's just the space really...

You could also breed them and give me the babies for my snakes!

Rat pups are good for conditioning females for breeding.

The Chief in our office has rats. Apparently make pretty good pets, and quite clean.

My sister used to have two. They had a fancy name....Something fancies I think. Red eyes and white fur. They were lovely, and are clean and actually very loyal. She left the cage open one day, and she woke up and found them both on her pillow. Might buy her some more for a christmas present. :D
