For cheapness, a 1.3 manifold fits straight on, and has twin down-pipes....miles better than the standard 1.2 manifold.
About ?10 from a scrappy.

try and aim for 4:2:1 configuration as on 1.4's. I haven't seen a 1.3 one so I cant comment on that. The idea is to prevent back pressure of an exhaust pulse from 1 cylinder going back and slowing flow out of another. As well as larger bore exhaust you need free flow silencers if you aint got them already. The 1.4Sr manifolds are actually pretty good and have the advantage of retaining heat and thus improving torque. Maybe the 1.3 ones are the same?
