nice one, can you get the car fully in the air without it hitting the roof?

Cool... although when I saw this thread (Dar's new toy) I was expecting to see that ''tickle me Elmo'' thing you showed me this morning!!! lol

That tickle me Elmo is well cool. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4x-VW_rCSE)
Phil - with the garage door bits modifyed I reckon I can get it about 6ft or so up. My garage peeks in the middle, so its got the height. Just measured it and its 3.6mtrs to the roof with no obstructions. I will be happy if I can get it 5ft off of the deck. Then I can get another car in as well.

Excellent, just didnt look like it had the clearance. Only problem now is your never going to leave the garage.

All that bracing where you see the Mk1 Dash above the garage door has to go before I can get it above about 3 or 4 ft. The height of the garage never shows well on photos.

My garage is attached to my office, so I basically live in this part of the house.

HOW MUCH!

I'd commit crimes for one of these! Would make rebuilding the nova so much easier and I could put the wifes car in garage at the same time same me getting grief!

is that a self levelling 5 tonne lift?

we had ones the exact same colour, make and style where i used to work. and they are fantastic lifts!!! can get under some really really low cars and get smart cars on them, lol

wish i had one at home meself, nice garage :thumb:

I think its a 2.5 tonne lift, I haven't got any of the paperwork at the mo so I haven't got a clue if its self leveling. Its also bastid heavy which is a shame because I want to move it and get it fitted asap. Its heavier than my Nova. I paid less than a grand for it.

Very kool!

CP has 2 of them, so so much easier for working on cars with, especially putting in engines etc.
