please help

hi all,right,i bought a shell a few week ago,recently bought an 1.4 sr engine,i dont have a clue about wiring so im hoping somebody on here can point me in the right direction and tell me what i need.
ive a 1.4 sr enigne as ive said,but the car is a 1.2 shell,what wiring loom do i need to get as there is no wiring in the car at all ?

hiya mate,right so i need a full 1.4 sr wiring loom,anything else ?
like i say i dont have a clue what i need,im just getting hold of it and somebody else is doing the fitting.

Was it a 1.2 injection?

i dont have a clue mate,its been sat in his garage for 3 years and he hasnt got round to giving me the log book yet,all i can tel you is that its totally stripped of wires and everything else inside the car and under the bonnet,the only thing thats left in the car is the usual stuff,steering rack,wheel,etc...just the things needed to push the car about.

grab the full loom from the interior of any nova for the lights etc.., and the one from the donor car if possible for the engine.

right thats great mate,so it doesnt matter what nova i get the loom out of for the interior,and get the engine loom fron the engine i just bought is that correct ?

only gte/gsi had seperate engine looms , all the rest was just part of the loom

if its a 1.4 carb engine then a 1.2/1.3/1.4 loom will be fine and will do car and engine
