front quatrer light/ fitting metro window

some people say you can remove the front window an quater light an fit a full metro window instead.
if i do this can i still use the novas electric window mech ?
are the metro windows the shape so they wont leak in the rain ?

very much doubt you can retain the e/w or even manual. Basically the glass will fit (maybe). Perhaps you could redesign the runners to enable the glass to slide up & down.

Bit of a project I'd say. I heard of this years back.
