Dreaded Mot

Hi just got the nova back from the garage and it has failed miserably:cry: I can do most thigs on it but thay have poked a hole in the bulkhead to the left of the drivers side footwell,what i want to know is can i plate it from the inside of the car or do i have to have the chew on removing the steering rack and welding from the outside?
Any help would be brilliant.

pic of the rust would help then it will be alot easyier to tell you what ya need to do
also where bouts are you in yorkshire ?

I come from richmond which is near scotch corner, as for a pic will try and get one done when i get the car up on stands..
