bloody kias/jap crap

wired my mate a new headunit in yesterday - we couldnt find a adapter to convert to ISO plugs so i hard wired it in which is where the fun starts -

ignition feed is green
cant find a perm live for the memory

a good feature of the stereo was a 'protect' facility where if anything touches bare metal it shuts the unit down as to avoid blowing anythink - not bad saying the headunit was only ?70

Slightly off topic but my dad has a kia something or other and its crap.

You have to drive round town in 3rd as comfortable driving in 4th is only achievable at around 40mph.

my mates is ok to drive - he got it cuz his old calibra left him ????s in debt and when he crashed it he didnt get paid out

Dont get me wrong they're a car and when you need something reliable and cheap they're probably fine.

Its like I've always said if I needed a car and had no money I'd but a second hand volvo. But if you've got a bit of money and dont need anything flash there's plenty to choose from. I'd have an Aygo if i lived in london.
