How old is it? Cant remember the year when rear belts became compulsory. If your Nova was born before that date, you can remove them, but id fit some belts as if youve got someone unrestrained behind you in a frontal impact, you can come off worse!!

Either that, or remove the rear seats completely for the MOT

If you have seats, you also need belts on a H-plate.

Think it was 1985 or something belts were needed.

They became legal in 87 I think, along with side repeaters.
There is only need for both outer belts to be fitted, but if there is no back seat then there doenst have to be any belts iirc.

Post April '87, and you have to have at least one three-point inertia reel (or two lap belts/three-point static). If you have seats, you'll need belts; or if the seats are removed and the belts remain (I would assume even if its only part of the belt) they still have to work.

just wip the back seats out only takes 5 mins todo then you can get away with it
