alternator bracket for t40's

got the main lowering bracket with the manifold but with this the top adjuster bracket for tensioning the belt is too short what have people done to fix this??
also do i still use the standard alternator belt??

you need to make it longer by using another bracket and welding it together (just making it longer) ive used my standard belt that was on work ok but every now n then squeeks i just need to get a shorter belt - not by much tho

thought that would be the best way. i need to get some new rubbers for the top bracket as mine are ****ed any body know the best place??
