anyone recommended sound deadening?

going to do the whole car and it can be pretty expensive i've found! seen some cheaper stuff on ebay and might go for that.

anyone recommend certain thickness's for certain areas (floor and doors etc)

thanks! :thumb:

Ive used dynamat & brown bread in the past.

Deffo say use dynamat, it isnt so messy & dynashield spray on stuff is good for when you cant get at nooks and crannies.

Not all sound deadening is the same, so beware of cheap stuff. Techy bit. Dynamat turns the sound energy to heat inorder to diperse it, wheras cheap non audio stuff will reduce it to a low inaudible frequency that will interfere with bass response. Hence use dynamat IMHO.

cheers although sound quality is good, its more to replace the original spec stuff on the floor pan. (i've not removed it yet but was planning on doing that today, not sure if i should now as i'm only removing it to check for rot etc)
