Quite torquey, prolley about 60lb/ft. Enough to scare a 49cc moped anyhow.

I thought the 1.2's were 55bhp anyway. 1.0 is 45bhp IIRC. Didnt GM boast about the 1.0 units power when it was introduced? LOL

but the dude with the carb will be filling up a lot more. Remember, if youve got a 1.2, you aint in it for the performance lol

Ive got a 1.2 SPi ready for sale soon. Should pay for my ciggies for a week at least lol

Was gonna say the 1.2 carb aint very clever on motion lotion but my 1.2 spi seems to be doing well over 400 miles to a tank, yes please thats very handy hehe!!!! But the downside is ive seen milkfloats with more power than mine it wont do anything over 85mph lol!!!

the spi version is hugely limited by the gash head design and the CAT.. the spi itself is capable of running the car with more pwoer, but its the emissions crap that gets in the way.

ps my 1.2 carb was excellent on fuel, except for the odd 17mpg occasion on a very cold morning thrash to work with the choke all the way out lol

Hoooorayyyy, someone posts without saying "spi is s**t"
He's seen the light :p lol

Get rid of the cat, the ****e cam, and the ****e head (all of which the 1200carb engine dont have), and SPI is far superior to the 1200carb engine.
15bhp increase for a cam swap and decat/full exhaust shows how restrictive the standard setup is.
