strengthening for 2.0L

im taking my engine out and while its out im thinking of strengthening the engine bay to cope with a 2.0L, im not putting one in yet but im hoping to do so in the future.

i have no idea what to do, i know you need to seam weld stuff but what? lol. will i have to buy a plating kit?

you dont "need" a plating kit. jsut do the nod for the alternator clearence and then stitch weld EVERY seam in the bay. stich weld is 1" of weld then a 1" gap.
