Carb and Side Repeaters

problem 1

carb

keeps conking out, i start the car, it cuts out, i start it again, cuts out again, etc, itll start, tick over at 500revs, then cut out, i tried keeping my foot on the gas, but anything below around 2000revs, it cuts out, so i have to literally have my foot to the floor just to get it to move, which is quite embarrasing as it looks like i cant control my gas and i keep stalling it, lol!

what could it be and what do i do?

side reapeaters

had to put the standards on to pass the mot, but the bl00dy things keep falling off, whats the best adhesive to keep them n?

get the car down to a decent garage who have a krypton tuner. that should atleast find out the problem, if not cure it.

Is your car a mk1 or mk2?
My mot is due in a week or two, and i have no side repeaters.

it'll fail its test then, i work in a garage and we've failed loads of cars which have had repeaters removed
