Its ok cus the car doesnt move off the drive as i still cant drive:p

Now i can take corners at 60!!! (Well at least i can turn the wheel that fast, just depends where the car goes!)

By the way, its not on properly i was just fixing my cd changer and thought i'd see what you guys said! Its not on anymore, but i will try it someday

Its a steering aid to make it easier to go round corners.

Trucks have them so they dont need to feed the wheel

I cant imagine donkey wheels being illegal, most busses n lorrys and spacca wagons have them.

it is called a gaskell. it is a knob controlling a nova steering wheel.
They come as standard on jcb diggers, so they can't be illegal.
they are ok for nipping about, ie autotesting, but they get annoying after a few miles.

there are illegal , some thing about not having full control of the car when useing one. JCB and fork lift trucks have them as there used "off road" some old lorrys do but if you have one fitted when on the raod and polce see they can do you for it .

As Timmy said... fitted as standard makes them ok but if its a fitted one that fell off half way round a roundabout then it'd be a disaster.

IIRC on the back of the packet it'll say for show and off road use only.

but thats like saying an aftermarket steering wheel might come off when you turn it - doesnt make them illegal :roll: if its well fitted its no problem
