brake horse power=horse with some willwood 6's strapped to its leg lol
horse power=horse with no brakes and nos cannister hangin out its **** lol
nah on a serious note i think there the same too, the only difference you tend to get are the figures between the flywheel and the power at the wheels then you just work out how much you loose through the drive system.
wonder what a horse with t45's would go like? lol lol lol

Right, so i take it that neither of you actually know then?
And Stu, have you tried Googling BHP?? All you get is Skylines and Supras.
IIRC, HP and BHP are 2 different methods of measuring Power. Bhpand HP figures differ, ie 1xBHP is 1.3xHP or something similar. Does anyone actually know for definate?
BHP and HP
All the B means is "brake". The old word for a dyno - because the engine torque was measured by applying a brake to the flywheel rather than a torque converter or electrical motor which is how it's done nowadays. There's no other difference between the two and they both just mean horsepower.
